Innovations
Powered by solar, wind and hydrogen energy
MS Porrima is a Swiss experimental vessel that runs solely on renewables:
solar, wind, and hydrogen power. It circumnavigated the globe between 2010 and 2012 using solar energy alone. Then it sailed around the world with an artificial intelligence kite, featuring robotics complemented by hydrogen that was generated on board. The MS Porrima left Osaka, Japan on December 18, 2021 and is now in the early stages of another global voyage.
